Beth Verheyden

Beth has been teaching art in her Boring, Oregon studio for the past 23 years.  She conducts weekly studio classes, as well as studio and plain air watercolor workshops around the State of Oregon and Pacific Northwest regularly. 

She began her art career at George Fox University over 30 years ago, and has continued to study with Alvaro Castagnet, Mel Stabin, Ron Ranson and most recently Linda Doll.  Her paintings have won numerous awards and Best of Shows around the United States, including Best of Show at Northwest Watercolor Society’s Waterworks Exhibit 2013.  They hang in personal and corporate collections around the Pacific Northwest, Maryhill Museum in Washington, and the State of Alaska. She is a Signature Member of Northwest Watercolor Society, a Member of National Watercolor Society, Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and is an active Board Member of Watercolor Society of Oregon. !"
